Meet our Clinic Staff

Richard Matthews, PT/Owner

Richard received his physical therapy degree from the University of Central Arkansas in 1992. In his 30 years of experience, Richard has had the opportunity to work in areas of geriatrics, pediatrics, outpatient orthopedic, inpatient rehab, and skilled nursing facilities. He and his wife Wendy have owned Clinton Physical Therapy since 2008 and have called Fairfield Bay home since 2011.

Adam Sartain, DPT 

Adam Sartain graduated from the university of Central Arkansas as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2012. Since then, Dr. Sartain has has the opportunity to work with a wide variety of cases including orthopedic post-op, special needs pediatrics, and seniors with cognitive disabilities. He has also recently obtained his Trigger Point dry needling certification to add to our diversity of healing techniques in the clinic.

Seth Stone, PTA 

Seth Stone is a Physical Therapist Assistant that graduated from Brightwood College in 2017. Since graduating, Seth has specialized in recovering total hip replacements and total knee replacements, but has come back to outpatient orthopedic after moving home from Dallas, Texas. 

Aubrey Hastings, SPTA 

Aubrey Hastings is a Student Physical Therapist Assistant that graduated from American Career College in Los Angeles in 2022. She is currently studying to take her boards to become a licensed PTA. A lot of you may know Aubrey from the aquatic therapy program that we now offer at our Fairfield Bay location.

Laney Newell, PT Tech 

Laney Newell is a high school student currently attending Shirley Highschool and is set to graduate in 2024. Laney plans to attend PTA school when she graduates high school and is looking forward to a career in Physical Therapy.
